Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) When Thomas Lennartsson fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skellefteå's protests and gave Thomas Lennartsson a yellow card for diving instead. Sven Strömberg's late challenge caught a Åsljunga BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sven Strömberg helped the player get up and apologised. After 11 played minutes Skellefteå got a freekick which was hit by Sven Strömberg. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Knut Gernberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åsljunga BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Knut Gernberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ingemar Jansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Claes Gustafsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingemar Jansson having to interfere. Knut Gernberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ingemar Jansson having to make a save. Claes Gustafsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ingemar Jansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Skellefteå's zone, Claes Gustafsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ingemar Jansson came out of the goal and Claes Gustafsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Skellefteå booed when Åsljunga BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Linus Gerdberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andreas Lindgren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Olsson went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claes Gustafsson in the 35th minute of play forced Skellefteå's goalkeeper Ingemar Jansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th match minute, Skellefteå was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Olof Jelm to maneuver through the defense. Robin Målare recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Claes Gustafsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, Skellefteå's goalkeeper Ingemar Jansson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Knut Gernberg. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Claes Gustafsson made the kick off in the second half. Ingemar Jansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claes Gustafsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the match, Skellefteå's Robin Målare sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andreas Lindgren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Claes Gustafsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingemar Jansson having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Åsljunga BK's goalkeeper Andreas Lindgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robin Målare. Robin Målare scored 0-2 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andreas Lindgren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 71st minute, Knut Gernberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ingemar Jansson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 81st minute, Knut Gernberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Claes Gustafsson came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Åsljunga BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claes Gustafsson couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Skellefteå booed when Åsljunga BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torbjörn Berggren didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute Daniel Olsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Lindgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Skellefteå walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
