Ernst Kiempe came out of the goal and Knut Gernberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robin Christoffersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Lindgren having to interfere. Andreas Lindgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin Christoffersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Fizkiz IF's Ernst Kiempe got control of the ball when Knut Gernberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Robin Christoffersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Andreas Lindgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 30 played minutes Åsljunga BK got a freekick which was hit by Torbjörn Berggren. 34 minutes into the match, Fizkiz IF's Robin Christoffersson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andreas Lindgren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fizkiz IF's Ernst Kiempe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Fizkiz IF from getting a goal against them. 41 minutes into the match, Åsljunga BK's goal looked a bit too open when Gustav Smed came free, but Andreas Lindgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Åsljunga BK's Knut Gernberg got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robin Christoffersson made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Gustav Smed managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fizkiz IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustav Smed was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Åsljunga BK's goalkeeper Andreas Lindgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Knut Gernberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernst Kiempe having to interfere. Åsljunga BK's Andreas Lindgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Åsljunga BK from getting a goal against them. In the 64th minute Robin Christoffersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Lindgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sven-Edvin Nilsson fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fizkiz IF's protests and gave Sven-Edvin Nilsson a yellow card for diving instead. Sven-Edvin Nilsson hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. But to his dismay, Claes Gustafsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Torbjörn Berggren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernst Kiempe having to interfere. If Claes Gustafsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. There was no doubt that Åsljunga BK were the better team. Åsljunga BK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
