Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Henrik Friberger took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Byske's goalkeeper Eric Magnusson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sten Olsson scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sven-Oskar Säfström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bo-Erik Nilsson lost his temper 10 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave Byske a penalty, 12 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gustaf Galle, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Påryd's Sven-Oskar Säfström. 0-2. When Thor Sundin came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Påryd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thor Sundin couldn't finish the play. Sven-Oskar Säfström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sten Olsson in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Henrik Friberger notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Påryd's Sven-Oskar Säfström. Sven-Oskar Säfström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 26 minutes, Henrik Friberger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Byske's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henrik Friberger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christopher Elg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olov Giöck received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eric Magnusson came out and tried to block the shot, but Olov Giöck slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 32nd minute. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Byske's goalkeeper Eric Magnusson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 43 minutes, Olov Giöck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Påryd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olov Giöck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Christopher Elg got free in front of the goal in the 45th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Eric Magnusson was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar.

Thor Sundin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Eric Magnusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustav Larsson kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Eric Magnusson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Giöck in the 56th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Påryd's Olov Giöck got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute, Tony Back hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christopher Elg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thor Sundin struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Eric Magnusson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Påryd. Påryd's Christopher Elg got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Ingvar Kjellberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Påryd's supporters rose to their feet, but Ingvar Kjellberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eric Magnusson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christopher Elg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olov Giöck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 81st minute, Christopher Elg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Christopher Elg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thor Sundin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Magnusson having to interfere. If Christopher Elg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Thor Sundin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christopher Elg in the 94th minute of play forced Byske's goalkeeper Eric Magnusson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christopher Elg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Although Påryd had been in control for most of the match, Byske still came away with the win.
