In the 5th minute, Jimmie Kinell made a precise shot to the right of Svante Westerberg. Gunners FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Svante Westerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimmie Kinell in the 13th minute of the match. Ivan Eklund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Svante Westerberg having to make a save. The attack was good, but when Jimmie Kinell in the 16th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After 20 played minutes Gunners FC got a freekick which was hit by Olov Bredberg. Lennart Rydelius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 31 played minutes, Gunners FC's Harry Stephansson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bengt Wennerqvist came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gunners FC reached it. Svante Westerberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmie Kinell, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Ivan Eklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evert Emander charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evert Emander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Evert Emander hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Svante Westerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmie Kinell in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sverker Nykvist was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Gunners FC booed when Hårsfjärden FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörgen Söderström didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jimmie Kinell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Sverker Nykvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Sverker Nykvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gunners FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sverker Nykvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bengt Wennerqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Sverker Nykvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lennart Rydelius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Bengt Wennerqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bengt Wennerqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennart Rydelius in the 75th minute of play. Jimmie Kinell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the match, Gunners FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jimmie Kinell came free, but Svante Westerberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Svante Westerberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Olof Brolin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivan Eklund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Svante Westerberg made a huge save. Olov Bredberg hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gunners FC's zone, Ivan Eklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Svante Westerberg came out of the goal and Ivan Eklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lennart Rydelius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hårsfjärden FK played a much better game than Gunners FC and deserved their victory. The Gunners FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
