With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tom Dahlgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Jens-Erik Forssberg came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Östra Ryd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jens-Erik Forssberg couldn't finish the play. Jens-Erik Forssberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Dahlgren having to interfere. Alf Lundberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthon Lilja having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Gullbergs Kaj's Sven-Edvin Tomasson broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A hard shot 28 in the game by Sigvard Lidberg from a close distance when the talented Anthon Lilja managed to make a qualified save. Östra Ryd's players were relieved. Sakarias Alebeck's late challenge caught a Östra Ryd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sakarias Alebeck helped the player get up and apologised. After 32 played minutes Gullbergs Kaj got a freekick which was hit by Sakarias Alebeck. Magnus Ahlstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jens-Erik Forssberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Magnus Ahlstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Tom Dahlgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The wind increased when Alf Lundberg made the kick off in the second half. Anthon Lilja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Lundberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Jens-Erik Forssberg notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Gullbergs Kaj's Tom Dahlgren. Tom Dahlgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Magnus Ahlstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Magnus Ahlstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute, Isak Hydén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alf Lundberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthon Lilja having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jens-Erik Forssberg got free with Tom Dahlgren in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Gullbergs Kaj getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Sven-Edvin Tomasson hit a great ball. After having played for 95 minutes, Jens-Erik Forssberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Östra Ryd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jens-Erik Forssberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
