John Carlsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Lundberg in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, Alf Lundberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. John Carlsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alf Lundberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the game, Gullbergs Kaj's Sigvard Lidberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. John Carlsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Alf Lundberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
