Leonard Strand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joacim Alén having to interfere. Inge Månsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Joacim Alén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joacim Alén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Strand in the 6th minute of play. Joacim Alén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Strand, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 15th match minute, Skillingaryd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conny Lundgren to maneuver through the defense. Dick Sundberg kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Skillingaryd's Conny Lundgren broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Arvid Boklund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emil Benett went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Leonard Strand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 38 minutes, Inge Månsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Troxy FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inge Månsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th minute Leonard Strand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joacim Alén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gunnar Axelsson to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Mattias Holmberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattias Holmberg in the 86th minute of play forced Skillingaryd's goalkeeper Joacim Alén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Troxy FC fully deserved thier win.
