When Dan Hake fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gärsnäs's protests and gave Dan Hake a yellow card for diving instead. Dan Hake kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Nicklas Knutsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 13 minutes, Nicklas Knutsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mercedes-Benz Mustalainen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicklas Knutsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jonas Harlén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erik Hägert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicklas Knutsson in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Gärsnäs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarl Josefsson to maneuver through the defense. When Lucas Klack came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Mercedes-Benz Mustalainen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Klack couldn't finish the play. Dan Hake hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Mercedes-Benz Mustalainen's Vilhelm Nyberg broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Sven-Edvin Johansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Harlén in the 37th minute of the match. Nicklas Knutsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Hägert having to interfere. Mercedes-Benz Mustalainen's Lucas Klack got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Jonas Harlén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Edvin Johansson having to interfere. After 55 played minutes Gärsnäs got a freekick which was hit by Jarl Josefsson. Hans Almstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Gärsnäs's Agne Glad got a free kick in the 67th minute. Gärsnäs's Erik Hägert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicklas Knutsson in the 70th minute of play. Jonas Harlén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jonas Harlén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hans Almstedt came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Gärsnäs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hans Almstedt couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Hans Almstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gärsnäs's supporters rose to their feet, but Hans Almstedt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Edvin Johansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sven-Edvin Johansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Almstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 86 in the game by Jonas Harlén from a close distance when the talented Sven-Edvin Johansson managed to make a qualified save. Mercedes-Benz Mustalainen's players were relieved. Dick Berglund hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the game, Bernt Vennersten was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gärsnäs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mercedes-Benz Mustalainen the free kick. The supporters of Mercedes-Benz Mustalainen booed when Gärsnäs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernt Vennersten didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mercedes-Benz Mustalainen fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gärsnäs had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
