After a defensive mix-up in Fellingsbro's zone, Ernst Vester stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charles Nyman came out of the goal and Ernst Vester tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Håkan Falk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Nils Johansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Sennan getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Sören Sundin hit a great ball. In the 14th minute, Håkan Falk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isak Busk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nils Johansson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. If Börje Lidberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nils Johansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Håkan Falk in the 35th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Håkan Falk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Johansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Håkan Falk in the 47th minute of play forced Sennan's goalkeeper Nils Johansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 59th minute, Sennan's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Isak Busk fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpected shot in the 59th minute by Håkan Falk got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 67 minutes into the match, Sennan's goal looked a bit too open when Håkan Falk came free, but Nils Johansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Håkan Falk took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Nils Johansson to make any attempt to save it. Isak Busk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Nils Johansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nils Johansson was a little too slow when Håkan Falk got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 0-3. Sören Sundin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Nyman having to interfere. 96 minutes into the game, Torgny Biörkquist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sennan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fellingsbro the free kick.
