Stig-Åke Wennerquist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fellingsbro. In the 14th minute, Rutger BK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Håkan Falk fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Håkan Falk came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Fellingsbro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Håkan Falk couldn't finish the play. When Rutger BK's Jan-Olof Odin in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Stig-Åke Wennerquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Håkan Falk in the 44th minute of the match.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Håkan Falk to strike the kick off in the second half. Fellingsbro's Isak Busk got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rutger BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fellingsbro the free kick. The supporters of Fellingsbro booed when Rutger BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mattias Lindberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Håkan Falk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Stig-Åke Wennerquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute Håkan Falk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig-Åke Wennerquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan-Olof Odin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Charles Nyman made a huge save. In the 72nd minute of the match Evert Beck shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stig-Åke Wennerquist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Isak Busk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Åke Wennerquist having to interfere. After having played for 76 minutes, Jan Ahlerot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rutger BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan Ahlerot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stig-Åke Wennerquist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nils Sandström's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. In the 81st minute, Isak Busk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute Jan-Olof Odin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Nyman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Isak Busk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stig-Åke Wennerquist was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Ahlerot in the 93rd minute of play forced Fellingsbro's goalkeeper Charles Nyman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
