In the 11thth minute of the game Dan Forsberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ytterhogdal's Mikael Pil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Christer Askestät, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 17 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Helge Fernström was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Helge Fernström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christer Askestät in the 21st minute of play. Otto Frykberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Christer Askestät had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Otto Frykberg got free with Helge Fernström in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mikael Pil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Forsberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Sven-Oskar Utfal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mikael Pil. Ytterhogdal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sven-Oskar Utfal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dan Forsberg was the one to do the kick off. Dan Forsberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mikael Pil. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dan Forsberg ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Ytterhogdal's Mikael Pil got control of the ball when Sven-Oskar Utfal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Otto Frykberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Ytterhogdal supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Väddö's performance. The match ended with a win for Väddö.
