Kent Hermansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Älvsbyn IFK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Göran Säf scored to the left of an out of position Patrik Pilblad, making the score, 1-0. If Lars-Erik Carlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Klässbol's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Malm came free, but Esbjörn Enström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Älvsbyn IFK's goalkeeper Patrik Pilblad, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Esbjörn Enström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kent Malm, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Kent Malm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the match, Klässbol's goal looked a bit too open when Konrad Berg came free, but Esbjörn Enström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kent Malm blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Esbjörn Enström having to make a save. 39 minutes into the match, Älvsbyn IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Göran Säf came free, but Patrik Pilblad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lars-Erik Carlsson struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Patrik Pilblad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Klässbol. An unexpectedly hard shot by Göran Säf in the 46th minute of play forced Älvsbyn IFK's goalkeeper Patrik Pilblad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Göran Säf to strike the kick off in the second half. Patrik Pilblad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göran Säf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Göran Säf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ragnar Björnsson charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ragnar Björnsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ragnar Björnsson hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute Lars-Erik Carlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Pilblad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Älvsbyn IFK's Ragnar Björnsson got his second yellow card of the match in the 69th minute. The referee ordered Ragnar Björnsson off the ground. A collision led to Älvsbyn IFK getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Ragnar Björnsson hit a great ball. In the 71st minute of the match Edward Ekelund shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Patrik Pilblad showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Lars-Erik Carlsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patrik Pilblad was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Patrik Pilblad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars-Erik Carlsson in the 74th minute of the match. Patrik Pilblad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Göran Säf's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. After 78 minutes, Göran Säf made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Älvsbyn IFK's Patrik Pilblad tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Älvsbyn IFK's Patrik Pilblad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars-Erik Carlsson in the 82nd minute of play. In the 85th minute Göran Säf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Pilblad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Göran Säf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrik Pilblad having to interfere. Älvsbyn IFK's Patrik Pilblad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göran Säf in the 91st minute of play. Göran Säf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Patrik Pilblad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Matthias Kock fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Esbjörn Enström, passed just outside the right post. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Klässbol had won after a very even match.
