Kristoffer Vennerlund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Göran Säf's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Esbjörn Enström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tord Hellström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Göran Säf managed to get in a good position for a shot. Klässbol's supporters rose to their feet, but Göran Säf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kristoffer Vennerlund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute, Göran Ahlström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 19 played minutes Edward Ekelund shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Ersmark's Kristoffer Vennerlund to catch but Edward Ekelund was lucky. It became 0-2 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. After having played for 23 minutes, Lars-Erik Carlsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Klässbol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lars-Erik Carlsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ersmark's zone, Göran Säf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristoffer Vennerlund came out of the goal and Göran Säf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26th match minute, Ersmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Göran Ahlström to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Göran Säf in the 29th minute of play forced Ersmark's goalkeeper Kristoffer Vennerlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Göran Säf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Klässbol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Göran Säf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tord Hellström during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 39 minutes, Göran Säf mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Klässbol and the Ersmark players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Klässbol's Göran Säf got a free kick in the 40th minute. Göran Ahlström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Esbjörn Enström made a huge save. In the 47thth minute of the game Måns Pilgren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Klässbol's Esbjörn Enström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
The wind increased when Göran Säf made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Lars-Erik Carlsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Göran Säf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristoffer Vennerlund having to interfere. The supporters of Klässbol booed when Ersmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Göran Ahlström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Lars-Erik Carlsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Klässbol's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars-Erik Carlsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kristoffer Vennerlund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Michael Jespersson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kristoffer Vennerlund having to make a save. 97 minutes into the game, Klässbol's Kent Hermansson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kristoffer Vennerlund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. Klässbol's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
