Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bo-Erik Lundhberg started the match with the kick off. Ramsjö's Bertil Vidman got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sören Beckman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Boris Mickelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonny Asklöv kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the game, Bo-Erik Lundhberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ivar Strömbom. Bo-Erik Lundhberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Boris Mickelsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sören Beckman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Trelleborg BK booed when Ramsjö was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Olof Rydberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sören Beckman in the 24th minute of play forced Ramsjö's goalkeeper Boris Mickelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Trelleborg BK's Ivar Strömbom got control of the ball when Bertil Vidman tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Peter Collin during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Trelleborg BK's Peter Collin got a free kick in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo-Erik Lundhberg in the 27th minute of play forced Trelleborg BK's goalkeeper Ivar Strömbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bertil Vidman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Ivar Strömbom when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ivar Strömbom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bertil Vidman in the 38th minute. In the 42nd minute, Rolf Valrot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bo-Erik Lundhberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After having played for 53 minutes, Bertil Vidman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ramsjö's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bertil Vidman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo-Erik Lundhberg in the 54th minute of play forced Trelleborg BK's goalkeeper Ivar Strömbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Sigvard Tingelholm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trelleborg BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Sigvard Tingelholm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boris Mickelsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bengt-Åke Jönsson charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bengt-Åke Jönsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 63 played minutes Trelleborg BK got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Åke Jönsson. If Bertil Vidman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Ramsjö's Sven-Olof Rydberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivar Strömbom narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ivar Strömbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertil Vidman in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th match minute, Trelleborg BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt-Åke Jönsson to maneuver through the defense. Trelleborg BK's Ivar Strömbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo-Erik Lundhberg in the 73rd minute of play. When Rudolf Sundberg fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trelleborg BK's protests and gave Rudolf Sundberg a yellow card for diving instead. Rudolf Sundberg hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Jonny Asklöv took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ivar Strömbom. Trelleborg BK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
