The audience thought a goal was coming when Sören Löfkvist got free with Gunnar Ljungberg in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sören Löfkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Hillerstorp booed when Undenäs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wiktor Wenerdahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jens-Ove Uter in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gunnar Ljungberg saved Undenäs from getting behind. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jens-Ove Uter made a kick off. After 58 minutes of play, Hillerstorp's Jens-Ove Uter made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gunnar Ljungberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yngve Bergman in the 64th managed to get into a good position. Rolf Beck showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Undenäs's zone, Jens-Ove Uter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gunnar Ljungberg came out of the goal and Jens-Ove Uter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Douglas Billvall's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nils-Emil Lundin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. In the 84th minute Yngve Bergman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Emil Lundin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Undenäs's Yngve Bergman in the 86th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Nils-Emil Lundin was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Hillerstorp through an amazing save. 87 minutes into the match, Undenäs's goal looked a bit too open when Sören Löfkvist came free, but Gunnar Ljungberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Yngve Bergman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
