Victor Carlsson scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan Alin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Martin Blom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenny Bergqvist having to interfere. Herman Godholm struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Jan Alin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sollefteå. Jan Alin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herman Godholm, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 27 minutes into the game, Victor Carlsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Jan Alin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Herman Godholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Blom might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kenny Bergqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martin Blom ran back to his position shaking his head. Martin Blom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 41 minutes, Charles Olsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sollefteå and the BW90 players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sollefteå getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Ragnar Hegg hit a great ball. Jan-Erik Delin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Sollefteå were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Martin Blom made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in BW90's zone, Herman Godholm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Alin came out of the goal and Herman Godholm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Herman Godholm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Alin having to interfere. Kenny Bergqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan-Erik Delin went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 68th minute, Sollefteå's Herman Godholm dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. After a rather tough play, Sollefteå's Charles Olsson got a free kick in the 94th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Carlsson got free with Jan Alin in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sollefteå had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
