Jan Alin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The supporters of BW90 booed when Bergby FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josef Bäckström didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niclas Sandberg in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan Alin saved BW90 from getting behind. Jan-Erik Delin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Ulf Flink made a huge save. Jan Alin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niclas Sandberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Gösta Lund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bergby FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Gösta Lund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan Alin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 40 minutes into the game, Bergby FK's Niclas Sandberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The wind increased when Martin Blom made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Jan-Erik Delin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ulf Flink was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Bergby FK's Peter Östlund got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute, Gösta Lund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Niclas Sandberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Bergby FK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
