Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Virserum's Viktor Eliasson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Lars Eliasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Klas Vennerström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredric Bergqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Leif Biörk kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After 13 minutes, Greger Söderberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barsele and the Virserum players grew even worse after the yellow card. Viktor Eliasson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Klas Vennerström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Klas Vennerström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viktor Eliasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Fredric Bergqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, Viktor Eliasson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Klas Vennerström. Barsele's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Viktor Eliasson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Egil Ahlrot stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Charles Håkansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Virserum's supporters rose to their feet, but Charles Håkansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Klas Vennerström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 56th minute, Lars Eliasson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 62 played minutes Viktor Eliasson rounded Barsele's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. Virserum's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
