The referee showed Ragnar Bivall the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hedenäset's Kalle Classon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hampus Löfgren in the 29th minute of play. Håkan Sjöberg hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filip Rydelius during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hedenäset's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lars-Erik Axelsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Leif Kalfhage managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hedenäset's supporters rose to their feet, but Leif Kalfhage was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patric Bergström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 47 minutes into the match, Hedenäset's goal looked a bit too open when Lars-Erik Axelsson came free, but Kalle Classon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

After having played for 51 minutes, Lars-Erik Axelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc MacGyver's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lars-Erik Axelsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lars-Erik Axelsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kalle Classon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Hedenäset's Kalle Classon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Hedenäset from getting a goal against them. Klas Erserman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 60 minutes of play Hedenäset's Filip Rydelius was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. When Hampus Löfgren came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Fc MacGyver fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hampus Löfgren couldn't finish the play. Jarl Fransson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Kalle Classon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hedenäset's Kalle Classon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Hedenäset from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Fc MacGyver eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
