Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jan-Åke Offendahl got the match started through his kick off. Pär Björkdahl struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Gabriel Göransson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Väring. Peder Fridlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 6th minute, Pär Björkdahl reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gabriel Göransson. The goal made the score 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Pär Björkdahl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Väring's supporters rose to their feet, but Pär Björkdahl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Göransson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Örjan Linqvist took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ulf Gummeson. Ulf Gummeson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Peder Fridlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Gabriel Göransson made a huge save. Peder Fridlund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gabriel Göransson having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Åke Offendahl in the 25th minute of play forced Väring's goalkeeper Ulf Gummeson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Gabriel Göransson managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Väring's Peder Fridlund fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 27 minutes into the game, Peder Fridlund recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gabriel Göransson. Peder Fridlund showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Peder Fridlund who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Gabriel Göransson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 41st minute, Gunnar Wennerlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peder Fridlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Pär Björkdahl kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gabriel Göransson. That made the score 3-1 in the 48 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pär Björkdahl to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Eskilstuna defense, Pär Björkdahl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Göransson. The Eskilstuna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Göransson should have stopped the shot. Jack Haegg's late challenge caught a Eskilstuna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jack Haegg helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Eskilstuna booed when Väring was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jack Haegg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 58 played minutes Eskilstuna got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Åke Offendahl. Gabriel Göransson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peder Fridlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Pär Björkdahl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gabriel Göransson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Eskilstuna's goalkeeper Gabriel Göransson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gabriel Göransson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pär Björkdahl in the 84th minute of play. Eskilstuna's Gabriel Göransson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peder Fridlund in the 86th minute of play. Pär Björkdahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Göransson having to interfere. Stig-Arne Ferm kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Peder Fridlund took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gabriel Göransson. Gabriel Göransson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. In the 99th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eskilstuna's goalkeeper Gabriel Göransson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
