Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ludvig Sandwall started the match with the kick off. Ulf Gummeson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ture Grelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mattias Lidberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pär Björkdahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Röda koalorna IF's Pelle Moberg in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 25thth minute of the game Ludvig Sandwall who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Väring's Ulf Gummeson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Pär Björkdahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peder Fridlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Mattias Lidberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ture Grelsson in the 30th minute of play forced Väring's goalkeeper Ulf Gummeson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pär Björkdahl in the 35th minute of play forced Röda koalorna IF's goalkeeper Mattias Lidberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulf Gummeson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Ekman, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After 37 minutes, Jan-Åke Alén mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Röda koalorna IF and the Väring players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 38 played minutes Röda koalorna IF got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Åke Alén. The supporters of Röda koalorna IF booed when Väring was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Carlsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40thth minute of the game Ludvig Sandwall who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Väring's Ulf Gummeson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Peder Fridlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 50th minute by Peder Fridlund got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Peder Fridlund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ludvig Sandwall might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ulf Gummeson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ludvig Sandwall ran back to his position shaking his head. Peder Fridlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Mattias Lidberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Jan-Åke Alén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Peder Fridlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peder Fridlund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mattias Lidberg having to make a save. Ture Grelsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Ulf Gummeson made a huge save. In the 77th match minute, Väring was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rutger Browald to maneuver through the defense. Ulf Gummeson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludvig Sandwall in the 90th minute of play. If Peder Fridlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Jan-Åke Alén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Röda koalorna IF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Röda koalorna IF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
