Väderstad RK's Alexander Odman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erling Stephansson in the 24th minute of play. In the 29th minute Bo Helström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Åke Månsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute Dag Sundberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Odman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Hällby Hellballers getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Gösta Kråk hit a great ball. After 38 played minutes, Väderstad RK's Torbjörn Nyström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jan-Åke Månsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Väderstad RK reached it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After 58 played minutes Hällby Hellballers got a freekick which was hit by Gösta Berglund. Birger Galle's late challenge caught a Väderstad RK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Birger Galle helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th match minute, Hällby Hellballers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birger Galle to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute of the match Torbjörn Nyström sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan-Åke Månsson skillfully saved the ball. Gösta Berglund hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the match, Hällby Hellballers's goal looked a bit too open when Bo Helström came free, but Jan-Åke Månsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Åke Månsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo Helström, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Alexander Odman made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Adrian Gråberg sent off a good shot on target. After 80 played minutes Väderstad RK got a freekick which was hit by Anders Siöberg. Dag Sundberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dag Sundberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alexander Odman having to make a save.
