The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Agne Sillén came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Klimpfjäll fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agne Sillén couldn't finish the play. Henrik Wallin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Arne Sillén having to interfere. The supporters of Klimpfjäll booed when Donsö was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christoffer Ljungberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronny Brodin hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. If Agne Sillén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Donsö's Karl Svanberg got a free kick in the 16th minute. After having played for 18 minutes, Agne Sillén managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Klimpfjäll's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agne Sillén was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21stth minute of the game Alfons Olofsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Klimpfjäll's Oliver Dahlquist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Klimpfjäll's Axel Trulsson got a free kick in the 21st minute. Jan-Olof Helberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute Alfons Olofsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliver Dahlquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axel Trulsson kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Alfons Olofsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliver Dahlquist having to interfere. If Jan-Olof Helberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfons Olofsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ingvar Åberg's late challenge caught a Donsö's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ingvar Åberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th minute, Ingvar Åberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Tomas Hallgren fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Donsö's protests and gave Tomas Hallgren a yellow card for diving instead. Tomas Hallgren hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Henrik Wallin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Arne Sillén having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Alfons Olofsson made a precise shot to the right of Oliver Dahlquist. Klimpfjäll's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfons Olofsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Oliver Dahlquist made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Jan-Olof Helberg sent off a good shot on target. In the 63rd minute, Henrik Wallin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bengt-Arne Sillén was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Henrik Wallin might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bengt-Arne Sillén. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henrik Wallin ran back to his position shaking his head. Oliver Dahlquist made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Jan-Olof Helberg sent off a good shot on target. Bengt-Arne Sillén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agne Sillén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agne Sillén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Arne Sillén having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agne Sillén in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bengt-Arne Sillén prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Donsö walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
