John Lindqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Albert Runberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of BK Skansen booed when Gånghester was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Ekelund didn't get a good kick on the ball. John Lindqvist hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, BK Skansen's Melker Målare got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute, Stellan Olsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th match minute, Gånghester was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kent Wennerström to maneuver through the defense. August Mogren, 29 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Mats Åkerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. Wilhelm Alströmmer struck a weak shot in the 49th minute. Tobias Örtlund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gånghester. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The supporters of Gånghester booed when BK Skansen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konrad Arvidsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tobias Örtlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilhelm Alströmmer, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute Melker Målare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Runberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albert Runberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mats Åkerberg in the 64th minute of play. After 65 minutes of play BK Skansen's Konrad Arvidsson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, BK Skansen's Konrad Arvidsson got a free kick in the 66th minute. BK Skansen's Tobias Örtlund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save BK Skansen from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, BK Skansen's Tobias Örtlund got control of the ball when Sixten Högman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mats Åkerberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Herbert Ekelund was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 98 minutes had been played. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. BK Skansen fully deserved thier win.
