Jon Mårtensson's late challenge caught a Vildanden FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jon Mårtensson helped the player get up and apologised. Wictor Lindqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manfred Jönsson having to interfere. Lennart Alefors received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Manfred Jönsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vildanden FF's Wictor Lindqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manfred Jönsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wictor Lindqvist in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute Lennart Alefors shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manfred Jönsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wictor Lindqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manfred Jönsson having to interfere. Wictor Lindqvist struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Manfred Jönsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vildanden FF. In the 24th minute, Rutger Wallin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patrik Springfält showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Hegg in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kennet Fernström in the 30th minute of play forced Vildanden FF's goalkeeper Patrik Springfält to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, SeanMcConnerys's Alf Linqvist got a free kick in the 41st minute. After having played for 43 minutes, Lennart Alefors managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vildanden FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lennart Alefors was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manfred Jönsson made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Wictor Lindqvist sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lennart Alefors made a kick off. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vildanden FF's goalkeeper Patrik Springfält, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lennart Alefors fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manfred Jönsson having to interfere. Lennart Alefors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Örjan Qvalfeldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Oliver Hegg took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Patrik Springfält to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Vildanden FF's Patrik Springfält got control of the ball when Kennet Fernström tried to sneak it across the goal line. SeanMcConnerys's Manfred Jönsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennart Alefors in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of Vildanden FF booed when SeanMcConnerys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helge Vennerkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lennart Alefors fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manfred Jönsson having to interfere. When Helge Vennerkvist came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the SeanMcConnerys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Helge Vennerkvist couldn't finish the play. 92 minutes into the match, Vildanden FF's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Hegg came free, but Patrik Springfält reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Vildanden FF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SeanMcConnerys's performance. The match ended with a win for SeanMcConnerys.
