Svante Dahlberg struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Roy Söderquist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arsenal FC. Kenny Vallander was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Jörgen Björkdahl capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jörgen Björkdahl really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 42nd minute, Svante Dahlberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 44thth minute of the game Svante Dahlberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PeShM3RgA FC's Roy Söderquist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Mattias Odén's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roy Söderquist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Claes Soned's late challenge caught a Arsenal FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claes Soned helped the player get up and apologised. Claes Soned kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Jens-Åke Granström, 57 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Kenny Vallander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörgen Björkdahl in the 63rd minute of play.
