Svante Jespersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Håkan Broberg in the 4th minute of the match. Johannes Wallmark made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andréas Kaxe in the 6th minute. If Andréas Kaxe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. Andréas Kaxe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Johannes Wallmark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tord Hökkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Johannes Wallmark made a huge save. 47 minutes into the match, Almunge's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaf Viklund came free, but Svante Jespersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustaf Viklund was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Tom Billvall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Almunge's supporters rose to their feet, but Tom Billvall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johannes Wallmark breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Stensjön's goalkeeper Johannes Wallmark, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tom Billvall might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Johannes Wallmark. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tom Billvall ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Almunge getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Ralf Sjöström hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andréas Kaxe in the 71st minute of play forced Stensjön's goalkeeper Johannes Wallmark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andréas Kaxe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johannes Wallmark having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Tom Billvall managed to get in a good position for a shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tom Billvall in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johannes Wallmark saved Stensjön from getting behind. In the 86th minute, Andréas Kaxe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Johannes Wallmark was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. In the 90th minute, Ralf Sjöström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andréas Kaxe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Almunge walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
