Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) SoverantagligenFC's Pontus Jönsson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Kurt Pilberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kurt Pilberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Rudqvist having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, William Lindberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. SoverantagligenFC's supporters rose to their feet, but William Lindberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dag Sandwall breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 11th minute, SoverantagligenFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Olov Vestberg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 13th minute, Jonatan Vestlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kurt Pilberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, SoverantagligenFC's Jonas Rudqvist got control of the ball when Kurt Pilberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Jonsered's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt Sjöström came free, but Dag Sandwall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonas Rudqvist made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Kurt Pilberg sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd minute, Jan Wennersten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dag Sandwall was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jonsered's Dag Sandwall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt Sjöström in the 30th minute of play. The supporters of SoverantagligenFC booed when Jonsered was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronny Wiman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute Claes Backman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dag Sandwall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Jonsered's Olov Vestberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonas Rudqvist. That made the score 1-1 after 34 minutes of play. With a little luck, SoverantagligenFC's Jonas Rudqvist got control of the ball when Kurt Pilberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kurt Pilbergs short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Jonas Rudqvist to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Olov Vestberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Kurt Pilberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olov Vestberg to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kurt Pilberg in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonas Rudqvist saved SoverantagligenFC from getting behind. In the 53rd minute, one of Jonsered:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Jonsered. In the 56th minute, SoverantagligenFC got a penalty, and Claes Backman placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. If Edvin Bengtsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kurt Pilberg scored 2-2 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonas Rudqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 68 minutes into the game, Jonatan Vestlund threw the ball into play from the sideline. Jonsered's Ronny Wiman quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonatan Vestlund during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 70th minute, Jonatan Vestlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Jonsered getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Karl-Åke Månsson hit a great ball. Kurt Pilberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Jonas Rudqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The throw-in from Jonatan Vestlund in the 76th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Jonsered's Ronny Wiman. 77 minutes into the game, Eskil Skark was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SoverantagligenFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jonsered the free kick. In the 77th match minute, SoverantagligenFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eskil Skark to maneuver through the defense. Jonas Rudqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Pilberg in the 78th minute of the match. If Kurt Pilberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Ronny Wiman made a precise shot to the right of Jonas Rudqvist. SoverantagligenFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Jonsered's Karl-Åke Månsson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eskil Skark, made in the 89th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Pilberg in the 95th minute of play forced SoverantagligenFC's goalkeeper Jonas Rudqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kurt Pilberg in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonas Rudqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Jonsered had played much better football throughout.
