Björn Ahlrot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Timmernabben. Sören Bodin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Björn Ahlrot made a huge save. With his leg Björn Ahlrot managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Timmernabben's Sören Bodin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Kristoffer Nässén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvin Ahlrot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Algot Pihlblad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Björn Ahlrot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Åtvidaberg BF's Björn Ahlrot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Åtvidaberg BF from getting a goal against them. Nils Pettersson might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kristoffer Nässén. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nils Pettersson ran back to his position shaking his head. After 27 played minutes Timmernabben got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Magnusson. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ove Hellqvist during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ove Hellqvist hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Alvin Ahlrot put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Kristoffer Nässén. 37 minutes into the match, Timmernabben's goal looked a bit too open when Alvin Ahlrot came free, but Kristoffer Nässén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Timmernabben's goalkeeper Kristoffer Nässén, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Timmernabben's zone, Åke Pihlwall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristoffer Nässén came out of the goal and Åke Pihlwall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Algot Pihlblad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Björn Ahlrot having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Algot Pihlblad made a kick off. In the 54th minute Algot Pihlblad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Björn Ahlrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Björn Ahlrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Algot Pihlblad in the 55th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Åtvidaberg BF's goal looked a bit too open when Sören Bodin came free, but Björn Ahlrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Åke Pihlwall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristoffer Nässén having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Timmernabben's Ove Hellqvist got a free kick in the 64th minute. Timmernabben's Kristoffer Nässén played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvin Ahlrot in the 65th minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, Åke Pihlwall cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Kristoffer Nässén was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Timmernabben getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Jens Säv hit a great ball. Roland Fransson, 77 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 78th minute, Åtvidaberg BF's Alvin Ahlrot dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Åke Pihlwall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Åke Pihlwall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristoffer Nässén having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Åtvidaberg BF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
