Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Karl-Johan Mellberg got the match started through his kick off. If Bengt-Rune Wallin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Karl-Johan Mellberg took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Casper Bank to make any attempt to save it. When Pär Pålsson fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ljung's protests and gave Pär Pålsson a yellow card for diving instead. After 14 minutes, Philip Algren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ljung and the Västkusten 89ers players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th minute, Philip Algren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl-Michael Termander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Bengt-Arne Almstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Karl-Michael Termander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Västkusten 89ers's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Michael Termander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bengt-Arne Almstedt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sven-Ove Stigsson hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Västkusten 89ers's Casper Bank played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Johan Mellberg in the 34th minute of play. Karl-Johan Mellberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Bank having to interfere. In the 47thth minute of the game Karl-Johan Mellberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Västkusten 89ers's Casper Bank was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
The wind increased when Karl-Michael Termander made the kick off in the second half. When Anton Sundström came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Västkusten 89ers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anton Sundström couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Ljung's Andréas Rang got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute, Harry Uggstedt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pär Pålsson was shown his second yellow card after 83 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 89th minute, Sven-Ove Stigsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 91st minute, Anton Sundström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bengt-Arne Almstedt was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ljung fans cheered their team off the field, for while Västkusten 89ers had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
