Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Väggens Giganter's Jens-Erik Pettersson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rune Överman hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute, Edwin Benett sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Väggens Giganter's Georg Wennersten didn't even have to move. Valdemar Dusett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Ekström in the 8th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Äppelbo FK defense, Samuel Ekström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdemar Dusett. The Äppelbo FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdemar Dusett should have stopped the shot. Samuel Ekström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdemar Dusett having to interfere. Jens-Erik Pettersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samuel Ekström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Äppelbo FK's Valdemar Dusett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Ekström in the 23rd minute of play. When Väggens Giganter's Jens-Erik Pettersson in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Äppelbo FK's goalie prevented a goal. Samuel Ekström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valdemar Dusett having to make a save. Jens-Erik Pettersson might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valdemar Dusett. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jens-Erik Pettersson ran back to his position shaking his head. Valdemar Dusett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Ekström in the 30th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Äppelbo FK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! Väggens Giganter's Georg Wennersten proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Väggens Giganter from getting a goal against them. Jens-Erik Pettersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Valdemar Dusett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 49th minute Samuel Ekström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdemar Dusett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Äppelbo FK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Väggens Giganter were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dag Alström made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Väggens Giganter's Jens-Erik Pettersson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valdemar Dusett narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Samuel Ekström's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Valdemar Dusett firmly grabbed it by the left post. Äppelbo FK's Valdemar Dusett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Äppelbo FK from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Herbert Torstensson sped through Väggens Giganter's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Georg Wennersten. Georg Wennersten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dag Alström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Väggens Giganter's Jens-Erik Pettersson in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Äppelbo FK's goalie prevented a goal. 66 minutes into the game, Ted Hedbom was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Väggens Giganter's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Äppelbo FK the free kick. Georg Wennersten came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Äppelbo FK's Dag Alström. But to his dismay, Dag Alström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Georg Wennersten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Torstensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Herbert Torstensson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Georg Wennersten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valdemar Dusett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samuel Ekström in the 78th minute. Samuel Ekström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samuel Ekström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdemar Dusett having to interfere. In the 88th minute Jens-Erik Pettersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdemar Dusett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuel Ekström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samuel Ekström struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Valdemar Dusett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Väggens Giganter. Väggens Giganter's Samuel Ekström got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valdemar Dusett made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Samuel Ekström sent off a good shot on target. In the 96th minute, Folke Göransson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 98 minutes, Samuel Ekström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Väggens Giganter's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Ekström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Äppelbo FK were victorious despite being under pressure from Väggens Giganter for much of the match.
