Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jonas Ekblom started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd play minute Gösta Ånger came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Daniel Tholsson. 1-0. The Miracle's Svante Hedman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Ekblom in the 7th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Charlton Athletic F.C.'s zone, Gösta Ånger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Tholsson came out of the goal and Gösta Ånger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Torgny Lundström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Tholsson having to make a save. 13 minutes into the match, The Miracle's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Ekblom came free, but Svante Hedman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nils-Emil Björkman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Svante Hedman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Nils-Emil Björkman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Charlton Athletic F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Nils-Emil Björkman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Svante Hedman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 19 minutes of play, Charlton Athletic F.C.'s Jonas Ekblom made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Svante Hedman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Svante Hedman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Ekblom, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils-Emil Björkman in the 38th minute of play forced The Miracle's goalkeeper Svante Hedman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvar Åberg's late challenge caught a Charlton Athletic F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alvar Åberg helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, The Miracle's Alvar Åberg got a free kick in the 38th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gösta Ånger during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, The Miracle's Gösta Ånger got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After some careless play in the The Miracle defense, Jonas Ekblom kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Svante Hedman. The The Miracle fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Svante Hedman should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torgny Lundström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonas Ekblom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Tholsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gösta Ånger went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to Charlton Athletic F.C. getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Nils-Emil Björkman hit a great ball. Andreas Paulin's late challenge caught a Charlton Athletic F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andreas Paulin helped the player get up and apologised. Andreas Paulin kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. If Nils-Emil Björkman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, Jonas Ekblom had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Svante Hedman. The Miracle's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonas Ekblom was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. After 77 minutes, Nils-Emil Björkman made it 2-4 with a short kick to the right side. The Miracle's Svante Hedman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 80 minutes into the match, Charlton Athletic F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gösta Ånger came free, but Daniel Tholsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charlton Athletic F.C.'s Daniel Tholsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torgny Lundström in the 84th minute of play. Nils-Emil Björkman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Svante Hedman having to interfere. If Nils-Emil Björkman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nils-Emil Björkman came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Charlton Athletic F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nils-Emil Björkman couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute, The Miracle's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nils-Emil Björkman fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the final whistle sounded Charlton Athletic F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than The Miracle.
