The supporters of Kevin FC booed when Odensbacken IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig-Åke Josefsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elliott Vester hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Pelle Allbom was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 9th minute. Odensbacken IK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stig-Åke Josefsson got free with Oskar Axelsson in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olof Lindqvist's late challenge caught a Odensbacken IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olof Lindqvist helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Kevin FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Olof Lindqvist hit a great ball. The supporters of Kevin FC booed when Odensbacken IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils Kellberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stig-Åke Josefsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Kevin FC's Fredric Wästerberg in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in Kevin FC's zone, Pelle Allbom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oskar Axelsson came out of the goal and Pelle Allbom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Dan Classon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Oskar Axelsson. That made the score 1-0 in the 40 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pelle Allbom to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Pelle Allbom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Fredric Wästerberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kevin FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fredric Wästerberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stig Mårtensson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Nils Kellberg fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Odensbacken IK's protests and gave Nils Kellberg a yellow card for diving instead. Nils Kellberg kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Charlie Bäck's shot from long distance in the 57th minute was not bad at all, but Odensbacken IK's Stig Mårtensson knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. 69 minutes into the game, Dan Classon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Odensbacken IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kevin FC the free kick. In the 69th match minute, Odensbacken IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Classon to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute, Odensbacken IK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fredric Wästerberg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Pelle Allbom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
