Jonas Åström was a little too slow when Vilgot Lindberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. Jonas Åström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilgot Lindberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. If Åke Malm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hova fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! In the 17th minute there was a penalty for Ursviken IFK. Jan Smefeldt stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Edvin Thorsberg. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Ursviken IFK's zone, Sven-Edvin Kvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Åström came out of the goal and Sven-Edvin Kvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the match, Hova's Sven-Edvin Kvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonas Åström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Ursviken IFK's Anthon Odeen got a free kick in the 26th minute. After having played for 27 minutes, Vilgot Lindberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vilgot Lindberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Joacim Skålberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hova's Edvin Thorsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joacim Skålberg in the 34th minute of play. Edvin Thorsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joacim Skålberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. When Joacim Skålberg came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Ursviken IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joacim Skålberg couldn't finish the play. Emil Bergsten struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Jonas Åström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hova.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Åke Malm made a kick off. Joacim Skålberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edvin Thorsberg was a little too slow when Åke Malm got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 1-2. Sture Berg hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Anders Vassenius's late challenge caught a Hova's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anders Vassenius helped the player get up and apologised. Anders Vassenius kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Åke Malm struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Edvin Thorsberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ursviken IFK. When Hova's Vilgot Lindberg in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ursviken IFK's goalie prevented a goal. Joacim Skålberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
