Torsten Sundling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casper Frykberg in the 5th minute of play. Fred Sörman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Linus Höijer, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Inge Siöman hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, Töreboda IK's goalkeeper Fred Sörman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan-Åke Jönsätt. Linus Höijer was extremely unlucky when he, in the 30th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dan Thorsberg during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dan Thorsberg hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Linus Höijer sped through Töreboda IK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fred Sörman. If Jan-Åke Jönsätt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Åshöjdens BK's Linus Höijer got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Linus Höijer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Håkan Gustafsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Torsten Sundling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th match minute, Åshöjdens BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Olof Trulsson to maneuver through the defense. Casper Frykberg struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Torsten Sundling didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Töreboda IK. Linus Höijer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Fred Sörman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 played minutes Töreboda IK got a freekick which was hit by Inge Siöman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Åke Jönsätt in the 78th minute of play forced Töreboda IK's goalkeeper Fred Sörman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Åshöjdens BK booed when Töreboda IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konrad Björnberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Åshöjdens BK's Linus Höijer in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Töreboda IK's goalie prevented a goal. Fred Sörman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Linus Höijer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Linus Höijer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Inge Siöman's late challenge caught a Åshöjdens BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Inge Siöman helped the player get up and apologised. After 90 played minutes Töreboda IK got a freekick which was hit by Inge Siöman. In the 92nd minute Jan-Åke Jönsätt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Sörman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Åshöjdens BK's Jan-Åke Jönsätt got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
