In the 5th minute of the match Roger Collin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lars Hellgren skillfully saved the ball. Richard Jonsson did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Lars Hellgren 12 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the game, Nils-Emil Höijer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hjärup's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo la Corona the free kick. After 18 played minutes Hjärup got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Emil Höijer. Deportivo la Corona's Markus Apelquist couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 18th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Hjärup. Richard Jonsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Lars Hellgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lars Hellgren made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Joseph Grönberg sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Richard Jonsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lars Hellgren was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. With his leg Lars Hellgren managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Deportivo la Corona's Joseph Grönberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 28thth minute of the game Richard Jonsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hjärup's Lars Hellgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mark Bergqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Paul Svensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Edwin Gregersson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hjärup's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo la Corona the free kick. A collision led to Hjärup getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Edwin Gregersson hit a great ball. 35 minutes in the game, Richard Jonsson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Lars Hellgren having to interfere. When Deportivo la Corona's Richard Jonsson in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hjärup's goalie prevented a goal. 41 minutes into the match, Deportivo la Corona's Richard Jonsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lars Hellgren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Hjärup's goalkeeper Lars Hellgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joseph Grönberg. With his leg Lars Hellgren managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Deportivo la Corona's Richard Jonsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Frans Sundberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evert Brandt was the one to do the kick off. Hjärup's Lars Hellgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joseph Grönberg in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Jonsson in the 63rd minute of play forced Hjärup's goalkeeper Lars Hellgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute of the match Roger Collin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lars Hellgren showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 67 minutes into the game, Ingvar Danielsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hjärup's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo la Corona the free kick. In the 70th minute of the match Herman Alström sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lars Hellgren skillfully saved the ball. When Nils-Emil Höijer was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. After 71 played minutes Hjärup got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Emil Höijer. After a defensive mix-up in Hjärup's zone, Richard Jonsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lars Hellgren came out of the goal and Richard Jonsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Markus Apelquist was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 76th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Jonsson in the 79th minute of play forced Hjärup's goalkeeper Lars Hellgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Hjärup's Evert Brandt got a free kick in the 79th minute. Lars Hellgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Jonsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Jonsson in the 88th minute of play forced Hjärup's goalkeeper Lars Hellgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joseph Grönberg in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lars Hellgren saved Hjärup from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Richard Jonsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo la Corona's supporters rose to their feet, but Richard Jonsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lars Hellgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
