The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hannes Stenqvist during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Bocklund in the 14th minute of play forced Stjärnhov ff's goalkeeper Robert Strömberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Bocklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Robert Strömberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th match minute, Nälden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hannes Stenqvist to maneuver through the defense. The audience cheered when Bengt Lindberg's long shot passed Tage Holm's right side. It was 0-2, 29 minutes into the match. Joseph Hermansson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Robert Strömberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Stjärnhov ff's Alfred Söderkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Alvin Petersson fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nälden's protests and gave Alvin Petersson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th match minute, Nälden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvin Petersson to maneuver through the defense. Alfred Söderkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Tage Holm made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Nälden's zone, Alfred Söderkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tage Holm came out of the goal and Alfred Söderkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tommy Bocklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Stjärnhov ff walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
