Maximilian Nilsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kent Falck in the 3rd minute of the match. A collision led to En dagens tack! getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Peter Ahlroth hit a great ball. Alf Gudmundsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Maximilian Nilsson made a huge save. With a little luck, Virestad's Maximilian Nilsson got control of the ball when Alf Gudmundsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gösta Ros in the 12th minute of play forced En dagens tack!'s goalkeeper Joar Fernkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joar Fernkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gösta Ros, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Peter Ahlroth during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Joar Fernkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Arvidsson in the 19th minute of play. After some careless play in the En dagens tack! defense, Gösta Ros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joar Fernkvist. The En dagens tack! fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joar Fernkvist should have stopped the shot. Kent Falck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Maximilian Nilsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alf Gudmundsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Maximilian Nilsson made a huge save. Alf Gudmundsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Maximilian Nilsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Peter Ahlroth fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Maximilian Nilsson, passed just outside the right post. Joar Fernkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gösta Ros in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute Gösta Ros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joar Fernkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Virestad booed when En dagens tack! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Jönsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximilian Nilsson didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 44th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gösta Ros to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Peter Ahlroth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximilian Nilsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alf Gudmundsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximilian Nilsson having to interfere. With a little luck, En dagens tack!'s Joar Fernkvist got control of the ball when Johannes Siggesson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Virestad's Tommy Arvidsson got a free kick in the 59th minute. En dagens tack! were furious when Harry Mogren was red carded, 68 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Joar Fernkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gösta Ros's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. The supporters of Virestad booed when En dagens tack! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bo-Erik Nyqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute, Alf Gudmundsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Alf Gudmundsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Börje Olsson during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 85 minutes into the game, one of Virestad:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Alf Gudmundsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 99th minute, Alf Gudmundsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximilian Nilsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Although En dagens tack! had been in control for most of the match, Virestad still came away with the win.
