Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Virestad's Gösta Ros started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Gösta Ros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute of the match Malte Björk sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joakim Hammarberg skillfully saved the ball. Tim Brolin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximilian Nilsson having to interfere. After 16 minutes, Erland Bergman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skeppshult BF and the Virestad players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Skeppshult BF! Joakim Hammarberg came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Virestad's Börje Olsson. But to his dismay, Börje Olsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Skeppshult BF's Jens-Erik Höijer got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joakim Hammarberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Johannes Siggesson's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Jens-Erik Höijer put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Maximilian Nilsson. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jens-Erik Höijer got free with Maximilian Nilsson in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 51 minutes of play, Virestad's Gösta Ros made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joakim Hammarberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tim Brolin was the one to do the kick off. Sixten Lindqvist struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Joakim Hammarberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Virestad. Ivar Lang charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivar Lang the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 63 minutes into the match, Skeppshult BF's Jens-Erik Höijer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maximilian Nilsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 64th minute Jens-Erik Höijer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximilian Nilsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximilian Nilsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jens-Erik Höijer's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. After having played for 74 minutes, Johannes Siggesson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Virestad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johannes Siggesson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jens-Erik Höijer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Jens-Erik Höijer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Skeppshult BF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tim Brolin in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximilian Nilsson saved Virestad from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Virestad's Johannes Siggesson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joakim Hammarberg. That made the score 2-3 after 88 minutes of play. Johannes Siggesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joakim Hammarberg having to interfere. Johannes Siggesson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Virestad players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
