In the 13th match minute, Enköping IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Erik Myhr to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingmar Nordstedt in the 15th minute of play forced Dynamo Leif's goalkeeper Ted Pil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dynamo Leif's Ted Pil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingmar Nordstedt in the 20th minute of play. Ted Pil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingmar Nordstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Dynamo Leif's goalkeeper Ted Pil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tommy Sigman. In the 29th minute Enköping IF were awarded a corner. Jan-Erik Myhr went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Jan-Erik Myhr almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Dynamo Leif's Ted Pil did a great save. Erik Pihlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Aron Wennerquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ted Pil acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 48th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Conny Rönn. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ingmar Nordstedt to strike the kick off in the second half. Erik Pihlberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Aron Wennerquist made a huge save. In the 72nd minute, Arvid Hellkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 2-0 became the score in the 77th minute when Ingmar Nordstedt elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dynamo Leif's goalkeeper Ted Pil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dynamo Leif's Erik Pihlberg got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Enköping IF's zone, Egon Rudqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aron Wennerquist came out of the goal and Egon Rudqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th minute, Erik Pihlberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dynamo Leif's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
