Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Hestra IK's Joel Skarkman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Skarkman in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastian Holm saved Lagan from getting behind. 11 minutes into the match, Lagan's goal looked a bit too open when Ralf Ödmann came free, but Sebastian Holm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Skarkman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Holm having to interfere. Sebastian Holm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralf Ödmann in the 14th minute of the match. If Ralf Ödmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hestra IK's Daniel Abrahamsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valter Lindqvist in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Osvald Hök was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hestra IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lagan the free kick. The supporters of Lagan booed when Hestra IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvald Hök didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Daniel Abrahamsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 25 played minutes Hestra IK got a freekick which was hit by Ralf Ödmann. After having played for 29 minutes, Valter Lindqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lagan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valter Lindqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anton Kjellman kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ola Albäck in the 32nd minute of play forced Lagan's goalkeeper Sebastian Holm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ralf Ödmann charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ralf Ödmann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ralf Ödmann hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Thomas Vallman kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. If Ralf Ödmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Hestra IK booed when Lagan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Verner Bergvall didn't get a good kick on the ball. With 43 minutes on the clock, Håkan Boström commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valter Lindqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ralf Ödmann got free with Sebastian Holm in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thomas Vallman charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thomas Vallman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. August Lövskog fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Abrahamsson having to interfere. 60 minutes into the game, Billy Mattsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hestra IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lagan the free kick. 59 minutes into the game, one of Hestra IK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 64th minute, Thomas Vallman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ola Albäck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Ralf Ödmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 85 played minutes Hestra IK got a freekick which was hit by Ola Albäck. Valter Lindqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Daniel Abrahamsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valter Lindqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Abrahamsson having to interfere. The Lagan support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
