Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Stefan Wästerberg started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Per-Åke Spets came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by SK Höjden's Stefan Wästerberg. But to his dismay, Stefan Wästerberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Grimsås BF's zone, Anders Lindsten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Per-Åke Spets came out of the goal and Anders Lindsten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 10 minutes into the match, SK Höjden's goalkeeper Elliott Hedman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ture Rosendal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Arne Hård in the 11th minute of play forced SK Höjden's goalkeeper Elliott Hedman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stefan Wästerberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Per-Åke Spets made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Wästerberg in the 15th minute of play. Per-Åke Spets didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stefan Wästerberg went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Valter Nyman hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 1-2 became the score in the 23rd minute when Ture Rosendal elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marko Håning during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 36 played minutes, Grimsås BF's Axel Kjellberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Elliott Hedman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Grimsås BF reached it. After having played for 46 minutes, Bengt-Arne Hård managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grimsås BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bengt-Arne Hård was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half SK Höjden were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bengt-Arne Hård made a kick off. Anders Lindsten might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Per-Åke Spets. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anders Lindsten ran back to his position shaking his head. Anders Lindsten kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Ture Rosendal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elliott Hedman having to interfere. In the 64th match minute, SK Höjden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Ahlbom to maneuver through the defense. SK Höjden's Elliott Hedman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ture Rosendal in the 65th minute of play. Anders Lindsten struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Per-Åke Spets didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Höjden. If Bengt-Arne Hård had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74thth minute of the game Bengt-Arne Hård who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SK Höjden's Elliott Hedman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anders Lindsten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Per-Åke Spets read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Bengt-Arne Hård received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Elliott Hedman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bengt-Arne Hård took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elliott Hedman. Elliott Hedman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Elliott Hedman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ture Rosendal, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Grimsås BF were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing SK Höjden to leave the ground with a draw.
