When Stefan Almkvist came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Sickla BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stefan Almkvist couldn't finish the play. Arjeplog's Claes Kellbom got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tage Ström in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tobias Wallmark, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sickla BK were furious when Mattias Biörnberg was red carded, 46 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 46th minute, one of Sickla BK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sickla BK. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stefan Almkvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Claes Kellbom ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tobias Wallmark was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Claes Kellbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Wallmark having to interfere. Allan Stenberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Vidar Falk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claes Kellbom in the 93rd minute of play forced Sickla BK's goalkeeper Tobias Wallmark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
