Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Peking Stars's Marc Berggren started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Reine Edström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marc Berggren in the 5th minute of the match. Marcus Eckegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Magnusson in the 6th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Mikael Magnusson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcus Eckegren was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Gustavsberg's goal looked a bit too open when Marc Berggren came free, but Reine Edström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute Mikael Magnusson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Eckegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peking Stars's Jörn Ugla got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikael Magnusson in the 19th minute of play forced Peking Stars's goalkeeper Marcus Eckegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jörgen Ahlin kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Mikael Magnusson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mikael Magnusson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 41 played minutes Gustavsberg got a freekick which was hit by Rune Hermansson. Marc Berggren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Reine Edström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mikael Magnusson to make the kick off. Rune Hermansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peking Stars's Marcus Eckegren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikael Magnusson in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rune Hermansson in the 54th minute of play forced Peking Stars's goalkeeper Marcus Eckegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute Rune Hermansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Eckegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 61 minutes, Rune Hermansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gustavsberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rune Hermansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Gustavsberg's Reine Edström got control of the ball when Jörn Ugla tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Marc Berggren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peking Stars's supporters rose to their feet, but Marc Berggren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reine Edström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Rune Hermansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute Rune Hermansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Eckegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gustavsberg fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty! Rune Hermansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anton Vinström kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The Peking Stars supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Peking Stars would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
