Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Arman Sjögren made the kick off and thus started the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Johnny Lennartsson during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Johnny Lennartsson hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. A collision led to Rentjärn IK getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Freddie Hake hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Arman Sjögren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Västerljung FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Arman Sjögren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dan Odin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 16 played minutes Rentjärn IK got a freekick which was hit by Anton Harman. Dan Odin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arman Sjögren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pär Törnblom in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dan Odin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd minute, Maximilian Näver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 28 minutes of play Västerljung FF's Johnny Lennartsson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Johnny Lennartsson hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Joachim Vacker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rentjärn IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Joachim Vacker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ingemar Bergfelt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 35 minutes into the match, Västerljung FF's goalkeeper Ingemar Bergfelt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Freddie Hake. Joachim Vacker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kevin Löfgren kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Joachim Vacker made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Västerljung FF's zone, Joachim Vacker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ingemar Bergfelt came out of the goal and Joachim Vacker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ingemar Bergfelt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddie Hake in the 54th minute of play. When Pär Törnblom came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Västerljung FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pär Törnblom couldn't finish the play. Pär Törnblom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Freddie Hake received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Ingemar Bergfelt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pär Törnblom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute, Pär Törnblom made a precise shot to the right of Dan Odin. Rentjärn IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When Pär Törnblom came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Västerljung FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pär Törnblom couldn't finish the play. Västerljung FF's Pär Törnblom got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Pär Törnblom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pär Törnblom struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Dan Odin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Västerljung FF. After some careless play in the Västerljung FF defense, Freddie Hake kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ingemar Bergfelt. The Västerljung FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ingemar Bergfelt should have stopped the shot. Joachim Vacker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingemar Bergfelt having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Västerljung FF's Pär Törnblom sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dan Odin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, Rentjärn IK could leave the field as winners, despite Västerljung FF having more of the ball for most of the match.
