Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Luxostars IF's Jonathan Sävström started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Vidsel's Christoffer Jakobsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eddie Nykvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Christoffer Jakobsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddie Nykvist having to interfere. 28 minutes into the game, Christoffer Jakobsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Eddie Nykvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Christoffer Jakobsson took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eddie Nykvist. Eddie Nykvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The Vidsel fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Vidsel's Kjell Vase looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Luxostars IF booed when Vidsel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell Vase didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jonathan Sävström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vidsel's Bertil Blomkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Vidsel from getting a goal against them. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kjell Vase stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Ture Käller fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Luxostars IF's protests and gave Ture Käller a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Luxostars IF's Ture Käller got a free kick in the 55th minute. After 56 played minutes, Vidsel's Åke Bröms shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eddie Nykvist came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vidsel reached it. A hard shot 57 in the game by Christoffer Jakobsson from a close distance when the talented Eddie Nykvist managed to make a qualified save. Luxostars IF's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjell Vase in the 58th minute of play forced Luxostars IF's goalkeeper Eddie Nykvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Luxostars IF's zone, Kjell Vase stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eddie Nykvist came out of the goal and Kjell Vase tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th minute, Kjell Vase reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eddie Nykvist. The goal made the score 0-4. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Christoffer Jakobsson put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Eddie Nykvist. Christoffer Jakobsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eddie Nykvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Eddie Nykvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kjell Vase in the 78th minute of the match. Eddie Nykvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjell Vase, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Vidsel played a much better game than Luxostars IF and deserved their victory. The Luxostars IF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
