Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) A collision led to FC BYN getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Erik Hallgren hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Hälsö IK's Krister Gadd tried to score from far away in the 4th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 10 minutes into the game, Gustav Wassenius cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Einar Gullesson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Stig-Ove Josefsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hälsö IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig-Ove Josefsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Einar Gullesson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd match minute, FC BYN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kim Pedersson to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, FC BYN's goalkeeper Einar Gullesson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan-Erik Borre. In the 28th minute, Olof Tinglöv left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC BYN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigvard Hydén in the 31st minute of play forced Hälsö IK's goalkeeper Ingemar Dahlgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Stig-Ove Josefsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Einar Gullesson. The goal made the score 3-1. Olof Tinglöv received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ingemar Dahlgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olof Tinglöv in the 40th minute of play forced Hälsö IK's goalkeeper Ingemar Dahlgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC BYN's Olof Tinglöv got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sigvard Hydén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of FC BYN booed when Hälsö IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustav Wassenius didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, FC BYN's Einar Gullesson got control of the ball when Jan-Erik Borre tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sigvard Hydén stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Olof Tinglöv recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Markus Simonsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With splendid footwork Sigvard Hydén arrived in front of goal to shoot 3-2 by the left pole in the game's 66th minute. Kim Pedersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Ingemar Dahlgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 4-2 became the score in the 71st minute when Stig-Ove Josefsson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 73rd minute of the match, Sigvard Hydén tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ingemar Dahlgren saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Hälsö IK's Ingemar Dahlgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Hälsö IK from getting a goal against them. Olof Tinglöv received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ingemar Dahlgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kim Pedersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Sigvard Hydén managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC BYN's supporters rose to their feet, but Sigvard Hydén was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sigvard Hydén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingemar Dahlgren having to interfere. Jarl Nordin kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Hälsö IK were victorious despite being under pressure from FC BYN for much of the match.
