In the 10th minute Mathias Alegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörgen Hellström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mathias Alegren came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Odensbacken IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathias Alegren couldn't finish the play. Mathias Alegren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Jörgen Hellström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mathias Alegren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörgen Hellström having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Måns Holm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simon Larsson, 33 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 39 minutes, Edgar Falkrans mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Odensbacken IF and the Nyhamnsläge players grew even worse after the yellow card. A hard shot 41 in the game by Nils Lidman from a close distance when the talented Walter Pååk managed to make a qualified save. Odensbacken IF's players were relieved. Jakob Persson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Simon Larsson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 48th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edvard Berggren to strike the kick off in the second half. Jakob Persson struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Jörgen Hellström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Odensbacken IF. Tor Finsberg's late challenge caught a Odensbacken IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tor Finsberg helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Nyhamnsläge:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Odensbacken IF:s goal. After having played for 65 minutes, Mathias Alegren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Odensbacken IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mathias Alegren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isak Mårtensson hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Mathias Alegren who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Jörgen Hellström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Stig-Ove Martinsson hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After 74 minutes of play, Nyhamnsläge's Edvard Berggren made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Walter Pååk was left in no man's land by his defense there! Odensbacken IF's Edgar Falkrans got his second yellow card of the match in the 77th minute. The referee ordered Edgar Falkrans off the ground. 76 minutes into the game, one of Odensbacken IF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Nyhamnsläge a penalty, 79 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Simon Larsson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Odensbacken IF's Walter Pååk. 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tommy Wallman during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 81 minutes into the game, one of Odensbacken IF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Walter Pååk went to the wrong direction when Simon Larsson was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Nils Lidman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walter Pååk having to interfere. Jörgen Hellström was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mathias Alegren showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 88 minute of play.
