Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mikael Alström took the kick off in the first half of the match. Bo Lindberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Folke Lundström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th minute, Jonas Lövkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Per-Åke Eliasson got free with Emil Nordström in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 9 minutes, Per-Åke Eliasson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jotunheim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per-Åke Eliasson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonny Haglund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Bo Lindberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th play minute Per-Åke Eliasson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Emil Nordström. 1-0. Bo Lindberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Lövkvist in the 23rd minute of the match. After 35 played minutes Bankeryd IF got a freekick which was hit by Tor Ahlkvist. Bankeryd IF's Emil Nordström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Bankeryd IF from getting a goal against them. Emil Nordström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikael Alström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the game, Jonny Haglund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Bo Lindberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonny Haglund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Per-Åke Eliasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonas Lövkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonas Lövkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonas Lövkvist hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Per-Åke Eliasson during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Bankeryd IF booed when Jotunheim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Åke Eliasson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Bankeryd IF's Jonas Lövkvist got a free kick in the 71st minute. Mikael Alström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jotunheim's Per-Åke Eliasson got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Per-Åke Eliasson made a precise shot to the right of Emil Nordström. Bankeryd IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 86th minute Mikael Alström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Nordström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Per-Åke Eliasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Per-Åke Eliasson came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Jotunheim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per-Åke Eliasson couldn't finish the play.
