If Alexander Lindblom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute Tim Dalberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Åke Bogren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexander Lindblom charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexander Lindblom the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 17 played minutes Gais got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Lindblom. Timmy Lindqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ove Nordström having to interfere. Karl-Åke Bogren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Lindblom in the 20th minute of play. Tim Dalberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Arvid Browald's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl-Åke Bogren was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Ove Nordström successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After having played for 29 minutes, Alexander Lindblom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gais's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexander Lindblom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karl-Åke Bogren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Lindblom, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Rottne's Karl-Åke Bogren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arvid Browald in the 32nd minute of play. Karl-Åke Bogren came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Gais's Arvid Browald. But to his dismay, Arvid Browald quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Arman Björkdal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. In the 43rd minute, Tim Dalberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gais fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The wind increased when Viggo Stål made the kick off in the second half. When Elof Hök came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Gais fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elof Hök couldn't finish the play. The Gais fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Gais's Arvid Browald looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 59 played minutes Rottne got a freekick which was hit by Anders Wennerqvist. Arvid Browald struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Karl-Åke Bogren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gais.
